Visit to Audrey the dolphin

I don't know why we set up the clock alarm, if your dad and I are already awake. We could not over sleep knowing that in a few hours we will be visiting your other "You.

The boat leaves at 9h, but we are at the dock even earlier. We sit down upstairs, in the first floor of the boat.  This trip is such a joy, each wave takes us closer to "You". There is a young man explaining the activities according to the program each visitor chose. But it is different for us. There is no program, just Andrea, your trainer, the little dolphin and us.

Andrea already arrived, she did it before us, in the employees boat.

She no longer works in Isla Mujeres,  but she wouldn't miss this day and this meeting with us and with the little dolphin that we all love so much, our baby.

Your cousing Domi and her husband Serge are very discreet with their emotions, everything is internal, hidden, only the expression in their eyes changed.

Andrea is with “Audrey”, they are regaining their contact. We watch them from a terrace that looks over the pools. Andrea is there, laying on the dock, she talks to Audrey, caresses her, kisses her and gives her fish as prizes. Everything looks fine. We don't want to interrupt this moment, ours will come soon.

The time we wait for Andrea to pick us up seems eternal. What if she doesn't know we are here? I go to the office to find out if someone can tell her.

She comes to us a little later, she is happy, sure that "Audrey" recognized her, their contact happened immediately between them. Out time is here. Andrea gives us a life saver vest and we walk to the pool where our little "Audrey" is.

From the terrace we couldn't see the changes in her, but from closer, how big she's become! Andrea tells us that she is 2m 10 and she is just 3 years old. She still doesn't have the size of an adult dolphin.

First contact, first kiss. This kiss is pure hapiness, we have been waiting for it since so long, it finally happened. She is very loving and it seems she like kissing. We are all laying on the dock. Dad records."Audrey" raises her head and gives us a HUGE kiss...

The water is cold, there are little twisters but we don't care, we can see "you", touch "you" and give "you" all the kisses we want. God knows we are not going to stop, and since you like it, you are stuck on us.

Andrea shows Domi and Serge the anatomy of a dolphin, I'm the translator since Dad is in the dock recording. It's been a long time since your mom doesn't feed you, but you still have indications that you are still not an adult.

(I know I mix "you" with "her", but I do it because for mi and your dad, you two are one)

You work for us for a long moment, you know how to do a lot of new tricks, much more than when we came to see you last time. Now you are strong enough to pull us and help us cross the pool.

After each exercise, we give you fish to eat. Serge gets mad at a seagull that steals a fish from you. He scares it away moving his arms. It makes us laugh. He doesn't want anyone taking your food.

After the first kiss that he gave you he said "I can't believe I just kissed a dolphin!" and Domi answered hime "Yes, but it isn't any dolphin". It is true, you are not any dolphin, you are "Audrey", your other self.

I don't forget to kiss you in the name of all your family that stills love you, and I slap your fins in the name of you granfather. I also give you a kiss in the name of Pipin, but it surprises me that you start to sing when I say your name. You sing even though we didn't give you the signal to sing, by yourself, you make happy noises. I'll tell him when I see him, I know it will make him happy. We talk so much about you, Pipin and I.

Serge gets out of the water and Dad comes in his place. He also wants to touch you, kiss you and tell you loving things. We sweetly talk to you each time you come close, belly down or up asking for caresses. I have so many things to tell you... I need more time. I would have to stay in the water for many days and I know that's impossible, therefore I tell you everything very fast a little disorganized. I hope you understand all the loving messages that we try to communicate to you.

Now Domi gets out of the water, she is cold, but Dad and I are still there, we'll get out when Andrea tells us is time to let you rest, because for you, it can be stressing for us to be in the water for so long, you can start getting nervous. But for the moment you accept our presence and we can keep enjoying the moments we spend with you, kissing you, touching you and talking to you.

It's getting late, we have to get out of the water, say goodbye. We don't know when we will come back, but you can be sure, my love, that we will try to come back soon.

A last "Merry Christmas, my darling" and we get out of the pool without wanting. Of course we will come back, but when?

You look nervous. Andrea tells us that it is because of the fish that surround you and don't allow you to come close to the dock. We say goodbye and you jump out of the water, stand in your dorsal fin, happy, and we feel a knot in our stomach, a feeling of impotence for not being able of changing the course of things.

We go back to the terrace, but we turn our faces several times to the pool where you spend most of your days.

I come back to reality and to Cancun. Goodbye Love, Mom wishes you a happy new year in you liquid element, the sea. Millions of kisses My beloved little girl from your parents that love you.
